Title: The Common Denominator in Disease. From Identification to Intervention with Evidence Based Case Studies
Abstract: Common Denominators in Dis-ease: A Data-Driven Holistic Approach to Restoring Health Chronic illness continues to rise across all age groups, yet the underlying drivers often remain overlooked in conventional care. This presentation reveals the common denominators seen across hundreds of clinical cases—environmental toxins, endocrine disruptors, gut dysbiosis, and unresolved emotional trauma—and demonstrates how addressing these root causes leads to profound recovery, even in complex cases. Using real-world case studies—including autoimmune disease, neurological decline, psychiatric disorders, and severe metabolic dysfunction—Dr. Villanueva illustrates how targeted functional testing, precision detoxification, and gut-brain-immune recalibration drive measurable improvements. Attendees will learn how modern exposures (mycotoxins, BPA, glyphosate, phthalates, organophosphates) disrupt biochemical pathways, impair mitochondrial function, alter neurotransmitters, and contribute to multisystem “mystery illnesses.”
This evidence-based holistic model integrates biochemistry, environmental medicine, and somatic-emotional healing to produce consistent outcomes across diverse patient populations. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of the mechanisms behind chronic disease and practical strategies to implement a root-cause clinical approach in their own practices.
Bio: Dr. Elena Villanueva (Dr. V) is an internationally recognized expert in environmental medicine, functional diagnostics, and the mind-body connection in chronic illness. As the founder of Modern Holistic Health and BioOne Sciences, she has spent over fifteen years teaching clinicians and caring for patients through a precision, data-driven approach that integrates advanced laboratory analysis, environmental toxicology, gut-brain-immune physiology, and trauma-informed healing. Dr. Villanueva is a leading educator for Vibrant Wellness Labs, GPL, and multiple national medical organizations, where she trains physicians, naturopaths, and mental health professionals on interpreting complex environmental toxin testing, organic acids analyses, and multi-system functional panels. Her case-based teaching demonstrates consistent clinical outcomes in autoimmune disorders, neurodegenerative symptoms, psychiatric conditions, and metabolic dysfunction. A sought-after speaker, Dr. Villanueva has presented at global summits, clinical conferences, and corporate medical events, including PaleoFX, IMMH, Vibrant Labs’ Environmental Toxicity Conferences, The Biology of Trauma, and numerous toxin, neurology, and anti-aging symposiums. Her expertise has been featured on FOX News, CBS, ABC, The Shift Network, Good Morning Washington, Good Day LA, and in multiple documentary series on chronic illness, the Links between environmental toxic load and chronic illness, and brain-based healing.
Dr. Villanueva’s work synthesizes cutting-edge science with a whole-person philosophy, empowering both clinicians and patients to achieve measurable outcomes using evidence-based detoxification, nervous-system regulation, and root-cause medicine. Title: Reassessing Parkinson’s Disease: From Early Detection to Integrative Treatment Approaches.
Bio: Dr. Medeya Tsnobiladze is a naturopathic physician practicing in Connecticut, with a focus on integrative neurology. Before moving to the United States, she earned an MS in Biophysics and trained in a Neuroscience PhD program; she went on to complete her naturopathic medical training along with additional studies in acupuncture.
For over 15 years, she has worked in integrative medicine, with a particular interest in neurodegenerative and autoimmune conditions, tick-borne infections, and neuroinflammation. She is a Certified Provider through the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFMCP) and draws on clinical neurology, biochemistry, and biophysics in her approach to patient care. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM).
Dr. Tsnobiladze has spent over a decade teaching, including academic roles at the University of Bridgeport training naturopathic medical and physician assistant students. She has presented at continuing medical education conferences on topics such as the microbial contributions to neurodegeneration and the integrative management of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases, and has co-authored books and peer-reviewed articles on chronic illness, autoimmunity, and complementary therapies.
Outside of practice, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and being outdoors.
Abstract: Parkinson’s disease (PD) is commonly recognized only after cardinal motor findings emerge, when substantial nigrostriatal injury has already occurred. This presentation reframes PD as a heterogeneous, multisystem synucleinopathy whose clinical expression reflects interacting biological, ecological, and biographical determinants. It integrates the current understanding of alpha-synuclein propagation, mitochondrial dysfunction, oxidative stress, impaired proteostasis, neuroinflammation, and gut-brain signaling with practical strategies for earlier recognition and individualized care.
Participants will learn to identify prodromal and subtle clinical features—including constipation, hyposmia, REM sleep behavior disorder, autonomic dysfunction, mood changes, reduced facial expressivity, hypophonia, asymmetric bradykinesia, and early gait abnormalities—and to distinguish idiopathic PD from essential tremor, drug-induced parkinsonism, dementia with Lewy bodies, progressive supranuclear palsy, multiple-system atrophy, Wilson disease, and other secondary causes. The presentation also reviews the evolving diagnostic landscape, including alpha-synuclein seed amplification assays, skin phosphorylated alpha-synuclein testing, DAT-SPECT, neuromelanin and iron-sensitive MRI, plasma neurodegeneration markers, digital movement measures, and microbiome signatures.
A systems-based treatment framework is then presented as an adjunct—not an alternative—to evidence-based dopaminergic therapy. Emphasis is placed on exercise, Mediterranean/MIND dietary patterns, sleep and circadian restoration, constipation and microbiome-directed care, stress reduction, social connection, and reduction of relevant environmental exposures. Nutrient status, oxidative stress, toxicant burden, and selected infectious or metabolic contributors are considered within the limits of current evidence.
By expanding the clinical lens beyond late motor diagnosis and medication management, this presentation may change diagnostic reasoning, promote earlier recognition of PD and atypical parkinsonism, improve referral and workup decisions, and support more individualized interventions. These changes have the potential to improve symptom control, function, quality of life, and long-term patient outcomes.
Fascia, Meridian and Chakra: Intro to Overlooked Aspects of Physiology and Healing
Abstract: Conventional models of physiology are incomplete. The cybernetics behind homeostasis utilize domains beyond the mechanical and chemical. This presentation will introduce those domains and their relationship to the fascial system, which has recently become the subject of more intensive research. Terms and concepts such as ‘meridians’ and ‘chakras’ will be explained in relation to fascia – as well as the impact of environmental factors in both nourishing and disrupting this aspect of physiology. Finally, real cases illustrating these concepts will be presented. After understanding these domains of physiology, the remarkable results will not seem so remarkable.

Say the name Erin Brockovich and you think, strong, tough and stubborn. Erin is all that and definitely more. She is a modern-day “David” who loves a good brawl with today’s “Goliaths”. She thrives on being the voice for those who don’t know how to yell. She is a rebel. She is a fighter. She is a mother. She is a woman. She is you and me.
It’s been over 15 years since Julia Roberts starred in the Oscar-winning tour de force, Erin Brockovich. The film turned an unknown legal researcher into a 20th century icon by showcasing how her dogged persistence was the impelling force behind the largest medical settlement lawsuit in history. Since then, Erin hasn’t been resting on her laurels…she continues to fight hard and win big!
This gutsy broad doesn’t apologize for who she is. She has always loved going head to head with the big boys and was never intimated by their bravado. She learned how to come out on top from her tight-knit mid-western family in Lawrence, Kansas. Erin was the youngest child of an industrial engineer father and journalist mother. Her parents always believed that she could do anything she set her mind to if she learned to focus her amazing energy.
After a few years roaming around at various colleges, Erin decided that she wanted to be a California girl. She first landed a job as a management trainee for K-Mart, but when that didn’t make her swagger, she decided to study electrical engineering. But that wasn’t enough for the Kansas beauty. On a fluke, she entered the Miss Pacific Coast beauty pageant, and, not surprisingly, won the title. When she realized that beauty pageants weren’t her thing, Erin, her husband, and her two children settled in Reno, Nevada. After divorcing, the single mother became a secretary at a brokerage firm where she met and married her second husband. But that marriage was short lived, and the now mother of three was solo again.
Up until this point, Erin was the average divorced single mother trying to make a living, until she crossed paths with lawyer, Ed Masry, and this meeting changed the course of both of their lives.
After being seriously injured in a traffic accident in Reno, Erin moved back to California’s San Fernando Valley and hired Masry & Vititoe to represent her. They won a small settlement, but she still needed work, so she got a job at the law firm as a file clerk. It was while organizing papers on a pro bono real estate case that Erin first found medical records that would explode into the largest direct action lawsuit in US history.
Erin’s exhaustive investigation uncovered that Pacific Gas & Electric had been poisoning the small town of Hinkley’s Water for over 30 years. It was because of Erin’s unwavering tenacity that PG&E had now been exposed for leaking toxic Chromium 6 into the ground water. This poison affected the health of the population of Hinkley. In 1996, as a result of the largest direct action lawsuit of its kind, spearheaded by Erin and Ed Masry, the utility giant was forced to pay out the largest toxic tort injury settlement in US history: $333 million in damages to more than 600 Hinkley residents.
The story and eventual film made “Erin Brockovich” a household name. Over time, Erin realized that she could use her notoriety to spread positive messages of personal empowerment and to encourage others to stand up and make a difference.
Erin Brockovich has conquered all forms of media. Her first TV project was ABC’s 2001 Special, Challenge America With Erin Brockovich, where she helped motivate and organize the rebuilding of a dilapidated park in downtown Manhattan. This show is best described as “Extreme Make-Over Home Edition on steroids”. For three seasons, Erin hosted the Lifetime series, Final Justice With Erin Brockovich. The show celebrated everyday women who triumphed when faced with overwhelming adversity.
Erin then dominated the world of publishing with her New York Times Business Bestseller, Take It From Me: Life’s A Struggle, But You Can Win. She has also written two fiction novels, Rock Bottom and Hot Water. Her latest release, Superman’s Not Coming: Our National Water Crisis and What We the People Can Do About It, drew wide media attention before its publication.
Because of her fighting spirit, Erin has become the champion of countless women and men. She is this generation’s “Dear Abby”, and in fact receives thousands of “Dear Erin” letters and emails each year from people who are begging for help and support in their own personal struggles. Erin proudly answers every one of them.
As President of Brockovich Research & Consulting, she is currently involved in numerous environmental projects worldwide. She has requests for her help in ground water contamination complaints in every state of the US, Australia, and other international hot spots. She is currently working on cases in California, Texas, Florida, Michigan, Illinois, and Missouri.
Erin is one of the most requested speakers on the international lecture circuit and travels the world for personal appearances. She is a true American hero whose icon status and “stick-to-it-iveness” only fuels her determination to expose injustice and lend her voice to those who do not have one.

Abstract: Chronic inflammatory conditions in children are at an all-time high. Much has been publicized about the factors that contribute to, and cause, increased levels of inflammation in children. The list is exhaustive, and is not limited to the following: air pollutants, water pollutants, soil depletion, food allergies & sensitivities, agricultural practices, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, infections, parasites, tick-borne disorders, mold, chemicals, dyes, preservatives, additives, food colorings, detergents, skin-care products, pesticides, herbicides, heavy metals, electromagnetic radiation, cells phones, social media, addictions, stress, emotional, social and family issues, childhood traumas, parenting issues, and others. Nonetheless, there is one factor on which I believe we need to focus. And, that is, how we manage acute illnesses in children as a potential contributor to the development of chronic inflammation. Most often, pediatricians, family physicians, and other practitioners who care for children in a primary care setting, see acute illnesses in children in terms of an infectious etiology. When many children get sick, we hear, “something is going around,” and blame either bacteria or viruses as the root cause of their acute illnesses. As a result, the majority of these children are treated with suppressive over-the-counter medicines, antibiotics, and other pharmaceuticals. In this lecture, however, I will demonstrate that most acute illnesses in children may not be of an infectious etiology, and that using suppressive over-the-counter medicines, antibiotics, and other pharmaceuticals may, actually, be the incorrect treatments. I will explain how acute illnesses in children are effective, life-saving mechanisms to detoxify an excess amount of wastes, toxins, impurities, and inflammation from their bodies. Therefore, suppressing these acute illnesses with over-the-counter medicines, and prescription drugs, will only serve to stop their bodies from cleansing. Attendees will come to understand how the life-saving mechanisms are built into children’s immune and autonomic nervous systems, as they serve to appropriately and effectively complete the detoxification process for them. What might happen to the wastes, toxins, impurities, and inflammation, if children were to be prevented from excreting and eliminating these materials when their bodies are suppressed during their acute illnesses? A build-up of inflammation. Over time, this repetitive approach to using suppressive treatments of children’s acute illnesses will only serve to increase the circulation of more and more inflammatory materials, thus leading to chronic inflammation. We can never predict where in the body this build-up of inflammation may land. But, once we look at the laws of homeopathy, and understand the importance of bringing wastes, toxins, impurities, and inflammation out through the surfaces of children’s bodies during these acute illnesses, we might begin to treat their acute illnesses differently. The ultimate goal is to prevent the development of chronic inflammation in our children. Modifying the way we treat their acute illnesses may have a great impact on their resilience, and on strengthening their resolve to make sure chronic inflammation does not become of way of life for them.

Title: Type 2 Hypothyroidism- Is There Such a Thing?
Bio: Alan McDaniel, MD is a 1977 Tulane medical graduate. He trained in General Surgery and Emergency Medicine before becoming Board-certified in Otolaryngology with sub-specialties in Neurotology and Allergy. He has practiced privately since a two-year faculty appointment at the University of Louisville.
He has presented at various national meetings in the U.S. (AAO-HNS, AAOA, ANS, AAEM, IFM, PAAS) and Mexico. Topics of his lectures and publications have included General Surgery and Otolaryngology; Otology and Neurotology; Allergy; Chronic fatigue and Endocrinology. He has been a faculty member for the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy Basic and Advanced Courses and for the American Academy of Environmental Medicine. His two-day course “New Endocrinology” has been presented at the AAEM and elsewhere since 2005, to physicians from five continents.
Work with dizziness and allergy in the 1980s led him to seek solutions for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. In turn, these investigations extended to the endocrine aspects of this and related conditions. Since basic surgical training emphasizes the need to know several alternative approaches to an operation, he saw the logic of studying integrative and controversial medical methods. He has endeavored to understand these in the light of new facts from research, mindful that Medical history shows innovation begins as a minority opinion.
He is excited that applying new research to patient care offers solutions to many of the chronic and worsening problems that are epidemic in modern society.
When Dr. Erin Van Veldhuizen first started her practice, she wanted her primary focus to be on basic chiropractic, with some neurological emphasis. At the time, she aimed to learn more and increase her knowledge of the neurological side of her practice, so she pursued a certification in chiropractic neurology. While conducting her research, Dr. Erin saw that something else was missing from her practice. Her patients were getting better but not attaining the full health benefits she wished for them. She realized that she was only focusing on one of the three systems that control the body – she was treating the nervous system while ignoring the endocrine and immune systems.
As a result, she started researching endocrinology and obtained a Diplomate in Clinical Nutrition and Diplomate from the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition.
Further study of the endocrine system revealed how intimately the nervous system is tied to all of the body systems, so she returned to school and earned her Diplomate in Chiropractic Neurology, enabling her to effectively identify, and support all three major systems of the human body and about us.
While studying endocrinology, she also studied women’s health and learned about hormones and identifying hormone-related disorders. This opened another avenue to help women in need.
To expand her ability to offer comprehensive care for patients, Dr. Erin teamed up with functional medicine experts. In many medical practices, patients are just prescribed medications to alleviate symptoms instead of fully addressing their primary concern. About us, Innovative Dallas Health and Wellness Group offers patients all of these immediate medical support systems while addressing their long-term health needs to improve their overall well-being.
The core of Dr. Erin’s practice is to restore all of her patients to the best health possible. She does so by identifying the cause of their symptoms and supporting the body’s different systems using natural remedies and medical intervention when needed, giving her patients a clear path to better health.

Title: Low Dose Allergen Therapy Pre-Conference Workshop
Bio: Dr. W.A. Shrader, Jr., M.D., is a past president of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine, a past CME director of that organization and is secretary of the American Board of Environmental Medicine. He is a highly respected physician specializing in allergy, environmental medicine, and low-dose immunotherapy. With 5 decades of experience, Dr. Shrader has been at the forefront of advancing innovative treatments for allergies, food sensitivities, autoimmune disorders, and other chronic health conditions.
In the early 1990s, Dr. Shrader played a pivotal role in researching and promoting Enzyme Potentiated Desensitization (EPD), a groundbreaking immunotherapy method developed by Dr. Leonard M. McEwen. Recognizing its potential, he conducted an extensive study of EPD in North America, leading the largest-ever clinical investigation of the therapy. This research, conducted between 1993 and 2002, involved over 100 physicians and approximately 10,500 patients across the United States and Canada, demonstrating impressive clinical outcomes.
Following the discontinuation of EPD in the U.S. in 2002, Dr. Shrader developed Low Dose Allergen (LDA) Therapy, an advanced immunotherapy based on EPD principles but enhanced with a broader spectrum of allergens. LDA has since been widely used by physicians to successfully treat a range of allergic and immune-related conditions.
Title: Regulatory Challenges in the CAM Community
BIO: Mr. Simon has been engaged in the practice of law with focus on litigation and trial work in courts of various jurisdictions and states since 1989.
By 1999 Mr. Simon’s practice shifted its focus towards the representation of health care practitioners and health care entities in governmental regulatory enforcement and regulatory compliance actions. Those actions included state and federal healthcare related investigations, formal and informal show compliance conferences and interviews and formal disciplinary actions and hearings conducted before a variety of administrative tribunals. The practice also assisted healthcare practitioners in defending against overzealous insurance companies in civil insurance fraud cases related to complementary and alternative medicine and anti aging healthcare services.
Currently, the practice still continues to represent all healthcare practitioners in all aspects of governmental compliance and licensing disciplinary matters with and expanded scope into preventative regulatory compliance audits and recommendations. Representation now includes preventive measures such as audits and compliance, practice structure and billing compliance as well as preliminary dispute handling vis a vis patients and state officials. Representation further entails handling of all stages of disciplinary proceedings from inception through court challenges, litigation, final agency disposition and court appeals. Services also include negotiation and completion of consent orders, supervision of implementation of the consent orders and post administrative action litigation, if such is necessary.
The unique legal approach to the industry’s particular disciplinary plagues are designed to save the practitioner’s license, livelihood and practice while preserving the practitioner’s reputation and integrity in the medical community as a whole as well as in the patient community. Preliminary meetings with prosecutors, post or mid litigation negotiation and preparation of consent orders on terms advantageous to the health care practitioner and avoidance of further prosecutions in other states where the practitioner holds a license are only some of the preventive measures offered by Mr. Simon’s practice.
Mr. Simon also focuses on emergency court interventions in the event of administrative raids and illegal searches and seizures and license summary suspensions. Praised by both judges and opposing attorneys including various state Assistant Attorneys General, Mr. Simon enjoys an excellent and solid national reputation in the legal community. Mr. Simon holds licenses to practice law in New York, Connecticut, Texas District of Columbia and Georgia. Mr. Simon’s healthcare legal services are highly in demand nationally. He represents clinics and healthcare individuals nationwide. In the jurisdictions where he does not posses a license Mr. Simon works with local counsel while strictly observing the local pro hac vice and out of state attorney representation rules of the bar or of the highest court of each state.

Abstract: Given the level of environmental burden, detoxification is more important than ever for health. Sometimes, detoxification is needed to improve mental health. However, if mental health is poor, more often than not, your patient’s ability to detoxify might be very compromised. In fact, in some cases, trying to detox before addressing mental health may actually make the situation worse.
Please join Dr. Bongiorno as he explains the not often thought of relationship between mental health and detoxification. He will review the Hypothalamic Pituitary Adrenal (HPA) axis’ role in the fundamentals of detoxification. He will also explore the role of the vagus nerve on gut function and other pathways of detoxification. He will review helpful laboratory testing and offer practical solutions along with 23 years of clinical experience and pearls that you can bring to your patients the very next practice day.

She continues to lead international educational programs and clinical trainings focused on reversing chronic disease through environmental and biochemical restoration.
Abstract: Common Denominators in Dis-ease: A Data-Driven Holistic Approach to Restoring Health
Chronic illness continues to rise across all age groups, yet the underlying drivers often remain overlooked in conventional care.
Title: MITOCHONDRIAL MEDICINE:How Mitochondrial Dysfunction Acts As A Disease Determinant
Abstract: Mitochondrial dysfunction is increasingly recognized not as a secondary feature of chronic disease, but as a central and initiatingdriver of pathology across multiple systems. In this lecture, we will examine how environmental toxins (such as PFAS andmycotoxins), infections (e.g., Borrelia burgdorferi, Babesia), and oxidative stress impair mitochondrial structure and signaling—particularly affecting electron transport, membrane integrity, apoptosis regulation, and mitochondrial biogenesis. We will explore how these disruptions contribute to clinical syndromes such as sarcopenia, fatigue, cardiovascular disease, andneuroinfl ammation. Special emphasis will be placed on mitochondrial apoptotic signaling, cofactor depletion, and the downstreamconsequences of impaired mitochondrial turnover.Using current data from human, animal, and in vitro studies, we will also discuss mitochondrial resilience strategies includingantioxidant support (e.g., glutathione, PQQ, tocotrienols), membrane stabilization, and hydrogen-rich water as a promisingmodality that activates mitohormesis and improves mitochondrial redox status.Attendees will gain an evidence-based, clinically relevant framework for identifying and addressing mitochondrial dysfunction as aroot cause of chronic illness, along with emerging tools for assessment and therapeutic targeting.

Title: Environmental Disruption of the Gut Microbiome: A Hidden Driver of Immune Dysregulation and Chronic Disease
Abstract: The microbiome is the community of a wide variety of bacteria, viruses, fungi and other microorganisms that inhabit the human body. The mycobiome is the much smaller but very important part of the microbiome consisting of the fungi. The gut mycobiome refers specifically to the fungal communities populating the gut. Both the microbiome and its subsidiary mycobiome are extremely important to the host body’s health. Environmental factors, such as diet, infections, and exposure to toxic chemicals, can have significant impacts on both microbiota and mycobiota. Because of the vital role the gut mycobiome has in maintaining homeostasis, alterations or disruptions in the composition and functions of both the mycobiome and the microbiome have been associated with a multitude of human health disorders, such as gastrointestinal maladies, metabolic diseases, and even neurological disorders. We now know that the composition and function of microbiota can be modified. The corollary to this is that their effects on health, metabolism and immunity can also be modified. This has generated increased interest in developing therapies that target the mycobiome and microbiome.
This presentation will discuss how different environmental factors such as pesticides, heavy metals, antibiotics and microplastics can affect our fungal and bacterial compositions and make our immune system incapable of properly managing its commensal bacteria. We will show that, collectively, disturbance of bacteria and fungi can induce or exacerbate a variety of inflammatory and autoimmune disorders via T-helper-1, T-helper-2, T-helper-17 and regulatory T-cell modulation. Humoral and cellular biomarkers associated with exposure to toxic chemicals that resulted in changes in the gut mycobiota and microbiota will be presented in the form of different case reports.
Finally, we will propose that patients with abnormal immune profiles against mycobiome virulence factors may benefit from various interventions, for instance, antifungal therapies, or nutritional interventions with selective elimination of molds and yeast antigens, including those used in food fermentation and other food processes.

Title: Microplastics -The Problem and The Solution”
Abstract: Micro/nanoplastics are everywhere, including the human brain, vascular system, testes, ovaries, placenta and meconium. Micronanoplastics are not just inert polymers, they are a panopoly of literally hundreds of toxicants that include pesticides, solvents, and metals. These nanoparticulate superfund sites are finding their way into our bodies through our skin, lungs, and intestines. Approximately a teaspoon of our brains are micro/nanoplastics. Where do they come from? Our food, clothing, personal personal care products, water, and air. And the presence of microplastics in the body has been correlated with risk for stroke and MI as well as dementia and possible increased risk for colorectal and lung cancer.
A recent editorial in Medpage Today (Sept. 23, 2025) suggested that “it is time to warn our patients”. But what do we tell them? In addition to the obvious and necessary avoidance strategies, patients may be anxious about that teaspoon of plastic in the their brains and what has accumulated in the brains and bodies of their children. The capacity of the human body to eliminate micro/nanoplastics is virtually unknown. Small amounts are excreted in the urine but they’re not appreciable when compared to exposures. There are however solutions to this problem, we’ll explore the data and the possibilities in this lecture.

Title: The Infection–Toxin Interface: Hidden Drivers of Chronic Illness
Abstract: Biofilms are now recognized as a dominant growth state for microbes in chronic infections, conferring antimicrobial tolerance, immune evasion, and persistent inflammation. Environmental toxicants—including heavy metals, pesticides, and mold-derived volatile organic compounds (mVOCs)—can further entrench biofilms by altering microbial signaling, matrix architecture, and host defenses. This presentation will cover emerging evidence that trace metals promote biofilm formation and tolerance; that pesticides reshape microbial communities and biofilm behavior; and that mVOCs/mycotoxins modulate fungal and bacterial virulence. These mechanisms are translated into practical, stepwise clinical strategies: staged detoxification that reduces metal and xenobiotic burden; targeted biofilm disruption (e.g., chelators, quorum-sensing inhibitors, enzymes); and timing/selection of antimicrobials to exploit windows of biofilm susceptibility—while safeguarding mitochondria, barriers, and the microbiome. Attendees will leave with a decision framework, dosing guardrails, and monitoring tools to apply biofilm-aware detoxification in complex, multi-exposure patients.

Del Bigtree is one of the preeminent voices of the vaccine risk awareness movement around the world. He is the founder of the non-profit, Informed Consent Action Network, and host of a rapidly growing internet talk show The HighWire, boasting over 33 million views to date. Del’s multi-pronged approach incorporates legal, legislative, and media actions to expose the fraud, lies, and conflicts of interest that have allowed the pharmaceutical industry to evade standardized safety testing for vaccines. This collusion between government agencies and the pharmaceutical industry, now the most powerful lobby in Washington, has led to a dramatic increase in vaccine injuries, estimated to be as high as 5.9 million cases per year in the US alone. Despite mainstream media sources such as the New York Times and Washington Post blame so-called “Anti-Vaxxers” for the growing trend of vaccine hesitancy, Del has focused the spotlight on the real issue – the shocking lack of credible vaccine science.
Del’s foray into the vaccine issue was anything but intentional. After spending a decade celebrating great doctors, cutting edge surgeries and medical breakthroughs as a producer on The Dr. Phil Show and the CBS medical talk show, The Doctors, it was a routine investigation into the story of a whistleblower at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that catapulted Del into the vaccine debate. When every news agency in television, including The Doctors, refused to cover the story of Dr. William Thompson, a senior scientist at the CDC who had provided over 10,000 documents to support his claim that the agency had destroyed scientific evidence proving a connection between vaccines and autism, Del put his career on the line and left network television to make one of the most controversial documentaries in history: Vaxxed: From Cover-Up To Catastrophe. The film became a worldwide phenomenon when it was abruptly removed from the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival lineup under unprecedented pressure by the festival’s medical sponsor, The Sloan Foundation.
Del is now one of the most sought after public speakers in the natural health arena, often gathering audiences in the thousands who travel from around the world to be inspired by his unique blend of passion, wit, and scientific expertise. He has worked directly with the likes of Robert Kennedy Jr., Robert DeNiro, and Jenny McCarthy, and was an official member of the 2017 Kennedy Vaccine Safety Delegation at the National Institute of Health arranged by President Trump. He is the recipient of multiple awards including an Emmy Award as a producer on The Doctors, Best Drama at the New York Television Festival, and the Health Freedom Hero Award from the National Health Freedom Federation, the oldest natural health organization in America. He has appeared on several primetime news networks including ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX and has been interviewed by countless radio and Internet personalities ranging from Tom Hartman to David Knight of Infowars. Above all, Del is most fulfilled by his work with the brave mothers and fathers of vaccine injured children who are marching on state capitols around the nation to stop Big Pharma’s push to forcibly inject every American citizen with vaccines, a product the Supreme Court has described as “unavoidably unsafe.”

Title: Toxins as a Cancer Driver and What You Can Do About It
Bio: Nicole Saleske, FNP-BC, APNP, is a Nurse Practitioner and the Medical Director at The Wellness Way — Green Bay. Her passion to serve women and children stemmed from time as an RN working in Labor and Delivery and a vision fueled from her days fundraising for and then externing at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Having dealt with her own autoimmune conditions and fertility challenges for years, Saleske found The Wellness Way as a last hope for answers no one else could offer. Her favorite quote to tell patients, “You are not broken,” stems from the understanding of chiropractic principles applied to physiology and health restoration. After building a patient base composed mostly of families facing their own fertility struggles, Nicole saw the tidal wave of cancer that was becoming more and more evident on the horizon. While maintaining a full practice, Saleske pursued a deeper understanding of cancer as a metabolic syndrome and now has a bustling practice out of The Wellness Way — Green Bay and sees patients from across the country. Focusing on each patient’s unique physiology, cancering process, and lifestyle factors, Nicole assists patients in assessing options when it may seem as if there aren’t any, and determining which path of care is right for them. By helping patients support their body as they create an environment in which the cancer simply can’t thrive, Nicole has seen hope born from a hopeless diagnosis.
Abstract: Emerging evidence affirms what integrative and environmental clinicians have long observed: environmental toxins play a central role in cancer development, progression, and resistance to healing. This presentation explores the complex interplay between the internal terrain and external toxicants, detailing how persistent organic pollutants, heavy metals, endocrine disruptors, biotoxins, and radiation can drive oncogenesis through epigenetic, hormonal, mitochondrial, and immune dysregulation pathways.
We will examine key assessment tools to identify toxic burden and genetic vulnerabilities, and present a comprehensive, evidence-informed strategy for reducing toxic exposure and enhancing detoxification pathways. This includes both clinical interventions—such as lymphatic drainage, liver support, and nutraceutical detox—and patient empowerment strategies to foster long-term resilience. Grounded in a terrain-based model of healing, this talk will equip attendees with practical tools to help patients not only prevent cancer but also optimize their body’s ability to recover from it.
This session is ideal for practitioners seeking to address root causes of chronic disease and expand their oncology support toolkit in an increasingly toxic world.

Mr.

Dr. Dayan Goodenowe is an expert on the biochemical mechanisms of aging and disease. In 1999, he invented a technology platform that could simultaneously measure thousands of biochemicals in blood. Tens of thousands of human samples have been analyzed from healthy and diseased persons of all ages. The biochemical data collected has enabled Dr. Goodenowe to identify specific biochemical system failures (Prodromes) that occur with aging and prior to the occurrence of disease. In addition to predicting disease and death before it happens, Dr. Goodenowe designs bioidentical metabolic intermediates to correct prodromes, prevent disease, and increase longevity and vitality.
